Ancient Greece and Socrates.....

Today in Mr. Schick's class we talked about ancient Greece and Socrates and his death. Mr. Schick said that Socrates was a philosopher that always contributed in debates by asking questions which was called the Socratic method.  its where " is a form of inquiry and debate between individuals with opposing viewpoints based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to illuminate ideas." in class we also talked about how excellence and Hubbard and Socrates method all tied together. Mr. Schick had us look up a painting that an artist tried to recreate the moment of his death. the painting showed him sitting in a cell with men all around him while he was ready to drink the poison. his final word were " Crito, we owe a cock to Asclepius. Do pay it. Don't forget." there is a lot of debates going on about what these last words mean, and some even call it a riddle..... perhaps it is....
